We have many age-old track records of handling tiling and plastering related materials in the field of construction, various construction materials for buildings, roads, tunnels, and dams in the field of civil engineering, and "artificial lightweight aggregate made of good-quality natural resources (expansive shale, obsidian, limestone, silica rock, etc.).
We have been highly rated in the related industries. Our major products are also widely used in overseas countries, and we will organize global activities envisaging local production as well to meet our customers' expectations.

Constructor

Attention has been paid especially to reinforcement for earthquake resistance and repair (REFRETE/refresh method) of concrete structures in urban areas. We entered the field of frame reinforcement and repair earlier than any other competitor, capturing customers' confidence through fireproofing works to protect steel frames from collapsing due to fire, sales of the fireproofing material,"Rock Wool" and rust/corrosion proofing works for steel structures by means of the normal-temperature zinc-aluminum pseudo alloy spraying method (MS method). While needs for resource saving and recycling are increasing, we will make dynamic efforts for extension of the life cycle of structures.

Co-ordinator

We have been selectively engaged in the trading business to procure machinery, equipment, fuel, and gunpowder used at cement and concrete related factories and mines, as well as in the manufacture and sales of concrete related materials. At the same time, we are focusing our efforts on the dry construction material business and tree planting business to meet the diversified needs of customers.
In addition to procurement of raw materials from overseas countries and product export agency business for the Taiheiyo Cement Group companies, we are importing and exporting blast-furnace slag and other mineral products, various chemicals, and nondestructive inspection equipment and exporting plating solution and construction related products that we purchase from outside.

R & D

We will continue to offer various products in order to improve infrastructures for future urban development backed by the latest research and development facilities that support our business and by the production environment that permits supply of stable quality.
Research and development plan
1. Development of new products based on management strategy
While reinforcing the cooperation with operational departments and ensuring compatibility with the management strategy, we will embody the vision of our future research and development to develop new products.
2. Selection of themes and efficient research and development
We will select specific themes to input research resources and intend more efficient research and development by making detailed research plans and strictly observing the time limit of research.
3. Evolution and inheritance of technology
We will establish the base material (expansive base material, quick-setting base material, etc.) design technology, promote development of new applications, and bring up key men to establish an inheritance system.
4. Effective use of technology of the Group
We will make efforts to effectively use the technology possessed by the Group by reinforcing the cooperation with the laboratories of the member companies of the Taiheiyo Cement Group.
