(2) Expan S for concrete products. Expan S also comes in fast setting product called N-EX which has a shorter curing time when steam is employed permitting quicker removal of modeling.

Is ACE-LITE woods?

ACE-LITE is a no-wooden decorative material used in the form of molding or beams in hotels and wedding halls, etc. ACE-LITE is made from xonotlite, resin, glass fiber and other materials. It is sold in a white non-wood grain pattern.

Is ACE-LITE combustible?

ACE-LITE’s main component, xonotlite, is highly fire resistant, and ACE-LITE itself exhibits high heat and fire resistance.
ACE-LITE is thus gives a high non-combustibility of NM-8878 Japanese standard.

Dose ACE-LITE contain asbestos?

No, these are no asbestos used in the making of ACE-LITE.

Is ACE-LITE suitable to surface finishing?

ACE-LITE can be painted after surface treatment with a sealer. It can also be laminated.

Is working with ACE-LITE easy?

ACE-LITE can be sawed nailed, planed drilled and otherwise worked with using tools and machines normally used in working with wood.
Abrasion of edged wood working tools is similar to that for wood.

How different is ART ACE from ACE LITE?

Can only OS LITE set the humidity inside the warehouse to 60%?

OS LITE is the same as woods, which dose not adjust the atmosphere (humidity)　by itself.
OS LITE can not set the humidity by itself, because the environment humidity varies.

Is OS LITE alkaline?

OS LITE, itself is alkaline. However OS LITE gushs out alkaline at spout and absords times.
Its basic materials are alkaline. However OS LITE does not discharge alkaline factor at the time of absorption and discharge.

What is Refrete system?

Refrete system has two main treatments as follows, General treatment is alkalifying the surface of the reinforced concrete structure which was deteriorated by neutralization.
Rust-proofing treatment is a preventing the corrosion of the reinforcing steel inside concrete which is corroded by chloride damage.

Please explain the component and its effect of RF-100.

RF -100 is permeable special alkaline silicate water solution. Applying RF-100 on the surface of the deteriorated concrete strengthens the concrete surface and alkalifies them.

Please explain RF-100 permeability.

RF-100 has high self-penetration properties and penetrates in vulnerable layers, voids, and cracks of concrete.For details see brochure.

Please explain the component and its effect of DS-400.

DS-400 is water solution made by lithium nitrite as a major component.
DS-400 penetrates and diffuses into the concrete by applying DS-400 to the concrete surface, and gives rust-proofing effect to the corrosion of the reinforcing steel inside concretes.
After applying DS-400, apply RF rust-proofing paste and RF rust-proofing mortar.

Please explain DS -400 permeability.

The rust-proofing components in DS-400 penetrate into the concrete by “diffusion principle”.
The state of penetration of rust-proofing varies depending on DS-400 applied amount, RF rust-proofing paste thickness and the quality of the concrete (For example: water cement ratio).

What types of Polymer cement mortar do you have

We have Polymer cement mortar for defect repair as follows.
(1)Normal hardening type: RF Thick Mortar, AR cross section repairing material.
Before the mortar does not dry completely, over coating is available.
(2)Rapid hardening type: RF rapid hardening mortar
(3)Light weight rapid hardening mortar: VHE mortar
Since this is Light weight rapid hardening type, it is possible to shorten to repair the concrete deficit. 　
(4)High-strength type: TM mortar 600
nIt is suitable for base prestressed concrete whose compressive strength is over 40N/mm2 to repair its concrete deficit.

What types of U-LOX do you have?

There are two main types of U -LOX.
We have a “U-LOX” admixture type which is mixed with cement, sand and water at construction sites or at ready-mixed concrete plants, and Pre-mix U-Lox which only needs mixing with water at construction sites.

Note: the amount of water for cement-based materials varies depending on temperatures and other conditions at construction sites, preliminarily trial mixing is necessary in order to determine the suitable amount of water needed to obtain the desired consistency. The following are only amounts under average conditions.

There is no JIS standard regarding non-shrink mortar.
However, there are two standards and specifications as follows.

What kind of machine is suitable for mixing?

Please make sure to use small mixers or high-dpeed grout mixers for all grout products except Pre U-LOX PAD.
Since grout products are mixed with relatively little water, it is necessary to use a machine for mixing.

Mixer revolutions should be over 800 rpm (Generally over 1000 rpm).

Basically, follow instructions for mixer being used for mixing and mixing times.

CAUTION:
Never use a mixer with aluminum blades because aluminum shavings cause an extraordinary expansion which has harmful effects on the hardened product. Use mixers with stainless blades or a similar material.

NOTE
The above phenomenon is not unique to our products.

Although this is non-shrink mortar, cracking can occur under certain condition.
Why is this?

Non-shrink mortars arel used to fill confined spaces provided the atmosphere is not excessively dry. That is, not under conditions of low humidity.
No bleeding (separation of water from the mortar) and expansion in the hardening process unify it with the body and the anchor plate.
However, it may crack when used in areas of very low humidity and applied to floors/flooring as they are open spaces.
In order to prevent these kinds of cracks, check the place where the grout material is used and refrain from applying the grout to excessively open spaces.

However, if it is necessary to apply grout to an area with excessively open space, you should carry out preliminary preparations such as laying meshes. After applying, it is necessary to treat it with a trowel and use means to keep conditions moist while the grout sets.
